After you add the RSS feeds in the websites above to your RSS reader*, or browser or email client software with the feature of RSS reader, you can automatically receive the news and easily check the updates.

*RSS reader is the software, or the web-based or the mobile service specialized for RSS subscription(free or charged ones).

Most of the latest browsers and email client software support RSS subscription. For your reference please see the list below of the browsers and the email clients with the feature of RSS reader.

For your reference, the following is the simple instruction of RSS subscription with Internet Explorer7.

 

１． Access a website that distributes an RSS with Internet Explorer7.

Start Internet Explorer7(hereinafter described as IE7) and access a website that distributes an RSS.
In this example, access "ROSENET - What’s New", http://weblog.rosenet.jp/news_e/.

２． Click on the “Feeds” button () in the tool bar of IE7.

When the website distributing the RSS is displayed, the “Feeds” button() in the tool bar of IE7 will light up in orange. Click on the “Feeds” button.

３． Once the feed subscription page appears, click on the “Subscribe to this feed” link.

The feed subscription page will appear and the RSS feed information will be displayed. Click on the “Subscribe to this feed” link at the top of the page.

４． “Subscribe to this feed” window will appear and click on the “Subscribe” button.

The “Subscribe to this feed” window will appear and click on the “Subscribe” button.

The message “You’ve successfully subscribed to this feed” will be displayed and the subscription is done.

５． To check and manage the subscribed feeds.

Click on the “Favorites Center” button in the tool bar and click on the ”Feeds” button. A list of the feeds you subscribe will appear.

・If the feed you subscribe releases news, the feed name is displayed in bold.

・Click on the refresh button （） to force the update of the latest feed items.

・Click on the name of the feed to see the feed update.

・IE7, under its default configuration, checks the update of the feed you subscribe once a day.

・To change the configuration of the feed subscription, click on the “View feed properties…” link on the right side of the feed page and change the configuration in the “Feed Properties” window.
