[Important] Announcement of ROSENET e-mail and website service change
We announce you that we will change the contents of our e-mail and website service from December 2009.
Please see the details mentioned below.
1. Change No.1
(1) Basic e-mail space expansion
Date: From December 1st, 2009
Change: We will expand your basic e-mail space!
[10MB] => [100MB]
* You do not have to apply or change your computer setting for this change.
* Once you try to receive e-mails using your e-mail application from December1st, 2009, your basic e-mail space in the e-mail server will be automatically upgraded to 100MB.
* If you are now using optional [Additional E-mail Space] service, we will upgrade your e-mail space to 100MB. Your optional [Additional E-mail Space] service will be automatically canceled after the change.
If you would like to use additional e-mail space beyond 100MB, please see the article (2) mentioned below and apply in ROSENET Self Page.
(2) Change of optional [Additional E-mail Space] service
Date: From December 1st, 2009
Change: Optional [Additional E-mail Space] Service
[315yen / 5MB] => [315yen / 50MB]
*Your total e-mail space is maximum 200MB.
2. Change No.2
(1) Storage period change of your incoming e-mails
Date: From December 1st, 2009(planned)
Change: Storage period of your incoming e-mails will be changed
[unlimited duration] => [3 months(93 days)]
* After December 1st 2009, the e-mail messages left in ROSENET e-mail server for more than 3 months will be deleted automatically. Please make sure that you receive them into your e-mail application in 3 months.
* Once you receive(and save) the e-mail messages into your computer, they will not be deleted from your computer by the automatic deletion mentioned above.
* On December 1st 2009, the e-mail messages came to the server until August 29th 2009 will be deleted from the server.
(2) Notices
- Whether the e-mails in the server are read or not, we will delete ALL of the e-mails stored longer than the storage period. Please regularly receive and save e-mails to your computer using your email application.
- E-mails left longer than the storage period in the e-mail server will be automatically deleted WITHOUT NOTICE.
- E-mails deleted from the server cannot be recovered.

3. Change No.3
(1) Expansion of the maximum size of free web space
Date: From December 1st, 2009
Change: We will expand the maximum size of your free web space!
[10MB] => [100MB]
(2) Notices
- Basic web space will NOT automatically changed. You need to apply in ROSENET Self Page to change the web space to 100MB.
- You can change the space up to 100MB for free of charge.
- Your assigned web space will also start at 10MB when your account is issued. Please change your web space size in ROSENET "Self Page" by yourself.
